I have a drive on hand to replace it but i m not clear as to the procedure for doing that.

Perc h700 modular cards shipped in poweredge blade systems have an integrated dimm module which cannot be removed.

So no need for sas cables.
Perc 6i sas cables are not compatibles with h700.
After installing the replacement battery getbbustatus started showing the battery as missing.
I know these things can come with battery backup and other leads do i need any of that.

All hard drives are connected to the h700 with two drives mirrored for the boot volume 4 drives in a raid 5 array for the data volume and 1 drive as a hot spare.
I couldn t find any special battery replacement procedures in the manual so i just turned the system off and swapped them.
The server will be running of a ups.

To replace it you would need to power down the server and remove the power cord then hold the power button to drain the flea power.
